Submitting a Refund Application
Those who use the writing services offered by Mid-Terms.com may ask to have the cost of their order refunded within two weeks or 14 days of the order deadline expiring. Where plagiarism is concerned, time limits do not apply to refund requests. However, the customer will be required to submit a valid plagiarism report to show our writer is at fault.
NB: Some plagiarism checking systems such as Turnitin, WriteCheck and iThenticate are deemed reliable while others such as SafeAssign are not. This is because of the latter reports some authentic content as plagiarism. For example, quotations that are correctly cited and formatted, referenced materials, content lists, and particular parts of assignments such as the question(s) parts are not deemed to be plagiarism yet SafeAssign includes these in its reports. Likewise, hand-written notes alleging plagiarism do not constitute credible proof.
Mid-Terms.com cannot be held responsible for plagiarism detected in any part of an order completed by the customer. Only those sections completed by our own writers are checked for authenticity. Our refund team investigates all cases of customer dissatisfaction and reports back to the customer in 3-4 business days. Where a claim is valid, we will offer a full or partial refund.
Free revisions may be requested for up to 2 days (48 hours) after the order deadline expires. Outside this timeframe, a compensatory order will be needed. However, where a writer consents to undertake revisions free-of-charge no further refund can be offered. In the case of lengthier assignments, e.g., 20+ pages, free revisions may be requested for up to 30 days of the order deadline expiring. Free revisions cannot be considered where a customer changes the instructions they originally provided. If critical materials are not provided until after an order is complete or while it is being done, a compensatory order will be required.
Where a customer requests a free revision, they will need to set a revised deadline when submitting their revision instructions. On occasion, revisions can take 24 hours to complete depending on how complex the instructions are and/or if the order is difficult to reassign. In any case, Mid-Terms.com will endeavor to complete revisions in the timeframe agreed with the customer.
Customers are advised to monitor their email messages and profile pages for possible communications from their writer or our administration team. It often happens that customers do not submit essential materials with their initial orders. However, the customer is responsible for providing clear details and all necessary materials when submitting an order or if their writer asks them to do so.
For just 30% of the total cost of their order, customers may request our “extended” revision service. This option extends the revision timeframe from 2 days (48 hours) to 2 weeks (14 days). Revision requests, however, should match the instructions the customer originally provided. It should be noted also that this 30% “extension” fee is not refundable if the customer does not request any revisions.
A Full Refund
Customers may be eligible for full refunds in cases where:
- They were double or over-charged or they mistakenly placed the same order twice e.g. in duplicate form. If this happens, the customer should get in touch with our customer services team immediately to cancel any unwanted order;
- We failed to find a suitable writer;
- If a full refund is granted, the customer should no longer use any materials or papers provided by the company.
A Partial Refund
Customers may be eligible for partial refunds in cases where:
- They placed the wrong size order, e.g., they ordered the wrong number of pages. A part refund will be issued according to the correct word count;
- They choose the inappropriate writing level, e.g., university level instead of high school level. In this situation, our refunds team will recalculate a reduced amount of refund;
- They provided contradicting instructions/comments if the “description” on the order form or the customer’s message does not match the attached order materials. In this case, we will recalculate the refund amount.
Canceling an order with an assigned writer:

Note! Customers may not cancel orders when:
- There is 30% of an original deadline left;
- A writer is assigned to an order.
Furthermore, if a writer has already uploaded a complete paper, the order cannot be canceled.
Where a customer is late verifying an order, e.g., late responding to requests for identity verification from our finance team to prevent Internet fraud, the deadline for order completion begins from the moment we get respective clarifications. In these cases, the customer can either request a deadline extension or submit a compensatory order especially if their assignment is urgent.
Word Count Issues
The page size is calculated by word count (300 words per page) rather than on a visual basis. This rule does not apply to technical papers, however, where content is mostly based on calculations. In these cases, prices are calculated according to complexity level.
PowerPoint Presentations. It is necessary to pay for Speaker notes as a separate service. Our company can provide 100-150 words of notes with each slide if a customer chooses this option on the order form.
We calculate online tests, including multiple choice type questions, by the amount of questions required and on the basis of five questions to a page. Hence, if an assignment has 15 test questions, the customer should place a three-page order.
Our company will need to be compensated for early delivery. In the event a customer wants a paper delivered early, we will recalculate the cost and ask for a compensation order. Where a writer consents to a complete a paper early free-of-charge, no further refund can be offered. Where an order is delivered late without the prior approval of the customer or without agreeing an extended deadline, we will offer a partial refund at least based on the price list published on our website.
Customers should choose the correct type of order, e.g., “essay” and not “term paper.” Refunds cannot be issued where a product or service is not yet paid for. “Rewriting” involves the rewording or paraphrasing of a text. An additional order will only be requested where extra sections, new sources or further research are needed. Customers are encouraged to regularly check their email and personal profile pages for possible correspondence from our writers or support personnel. We greatly appreciate timely response from customers.

The payment for custom writing/editing/proofreading/rewriting/formatting may be refunded only. Tips cannot substitute an additional or compensation order.
